Fujitsu Siemens rack technology

The trend toward consolidation by virtualization demands flexible and reliable environments.
Are you ready for 19-inch PRIMECENTER rack technology from Fujitsu Siemens Computers?

PRIMECENTER racks are the basis for building 19-inch industry-standard rack configurations using the Fujitsu Siemens Computers product range and third-party servers. PRIMECENTER racks are available in heights starting from 12U for office environments to a 46U version or as a stacked 50U rack for data centers. Ease of service and simple maintenance of the mounted components is ensured by telescopic or sliding rails. The PRIMECENTER rack family meets the latest requirements for flexibility as regards cooling and maintenance, among other things thanks to optimum cable management, and for versatility when it comes to configuring 19-inch rack technology.

PRIMECENTER rack system
For high-density configurations

The stackable PRIMECENTER line of racks provide data centers with a maximal flexibility and reliability. They can be furnished with all standard 19-inch components and come with a new front door design to ensure the required ventilation. Cable management, meanwhile, is now more efficient than ever.
As an end-to-end rack concept, the PRIMECENTER rack also accommodates all other Fujitsu Siemens components, such as PRIMEPOWER and Fujitsu Siemens storage systems. Its compliance with standards means that competitors' products or products from third-party vendors, such as electric door locks, smoke and water level detectors, and power supply components, can be installed.

PRIMECENTER LC racks
The Cool-safeTM rack system

The stackable PRIMECENTER line of racks provide data centers with a maximal flexibility and reliability. They can be furnished with all standard 19-inch components and come with a new front door design to ensure the required ventilation. Cable management, meanwhile, is now more efficient than ever.
Fujitsu Siemens also offers a solution for dealing with rack heat through water cooling. All rack-mountable Fujitsu Siemens Computers servers, subsystems and 19-inch rack components can be installed in water-cooled PRIMECENTER LC racks. This means minimal emission of heat to the installation room; just about all the heat is dissipated by cooling water. In this way a very high power density can be achieved in the data center (up to 15 KW per cabinet, approx. 5 KW/m²).
