The PRIMERGY RX600 S4 server is designed for heavy lifting work providing customers in the upper-mid-market as well as large enterprises with an ideal platform for consolidating multiple systems or workloads on to fewer, more powerful servers. With huge memory capacity the four socket server is the perfect platform for running a bank of virtual machines and for backend services such as databases and e-commerce systems, as well as resource-hungry ERP and CRM systems. And as critical usage factors scale up, so do the requirements for platform resilience and advanced levels of continuous operation.
The new introduced Intel® Xeon® MP Processor 7400 series with 4 or 6 cores and up to 16 MB additional common L3 cache brings again tremendous performance and performance per Watt gains. RX600 S4 combines up to 4 Intel® Xeon® MP Processors with exceptional internal capacity and data center-typical robustness and redundancy features into a space-optimized 4 U rack module that is designed to improve your IT production quality.
